WaveOne to develop open water swimming events in
National Harbor's Potomac River waters. Located less
than 15 minutes from the Washington Monument,
National Harbor is the premier open water swimming
venue for WaveOne Swimming, a member of OWSA
(US Open Water Swimming Association), and USA
clinics and swims. We will keep you up to date on any
future events from WaveOne Swimming at National
Harbor.

Happy Hour Swims every Thursday at
National Harbor until September 19, 2013
Open Water Practice Swims
One hour swim includes 300-400 meter marked
course, followed with discounted happy hour pricing
at a local National Harbor restaurant/bar. These swims
are for practice and training and are NOT clinics or
learn to swim classes. You should be comfortable
swimming at least 500 meters nonstop in the pool.
Start time varies as the season sunsets change.
Approximate start times are 1:15 prior to sunset. See
website for updates. Arrive early to check in and be
numbered. Purchased passes will not be refunded or
transferred. Online price is $25 and closes at 3pm swim
day, on site waterside registration is available for $30.
We have 20 swims scheduled from May 9 - September
19. Start times will change as the summer progresses.
Check back for specific start time. All swims are at
least one hour, weather permitting. Join us in the
North Cove adjacent to the Commercial/North Pier.
Look for us on the commercial pier (look
for the water taxis) in front of the Pier
House Restaurant. Check in begins 30
minutes before the swim. See home page
for this week's start times.

Please see our website for schedule and weather updates particularly prior to event date. Cancellations due to weather shall be determined in the best interest of the swimmers and no refunds will be given for weather cancellations. All swimmers swim at their own risk.
